Welcome to Temetiu Village
Established on the island of Hiva-Oa, not far from the village of Atuona, Temetiu Village is located up a hill overlooking Tahauku.
The view of the Bay of Traitors, Hanakee Rock and Mount Temetiu will offer you a naturally drawn picture from the balcony of your bungalow or from the pool of the pension.
Conviviality, it is in this spirit that we will make you discover all the beauty of the island, its cultural and archaeological sites, its tiki (stone statues), its culture (gastronomy, sculpture, crafts, tattooing, songs and dances) and its inhabitants.
The great painter Paul Gauguin and the famous singer Jacques Brel are also part of the island’s history.
Take advantage of your getaway to visit the Brel space and the Gauguin museum located in the center of the village.
